Cause and Effect

We learned about “Cause and Effect”. The teacher gave us the sheet and we looked the language of Cause and Effect. Then we had to do the exercise "Skill Practice 1,2". After that around 30 minutes, she give us checked the answer with friends. And she Explained about Cause and Effect.
Cause and Effect is used to show how to the facts or concepts result due to other facts, events or concepts. Words that signal this type of text structure are because, since, therefore, if ... then, as a result of, thus, and hence. A graphic organizer may be used to represent the relationship between the causes and effects.
Comparison and Contrast (Continue)

Today, we had to read the text " Men and Women: Do they speak the same language? " and did the exercises from the text. Next, the teacher gave us check the answer with friends. Then we had to a midterm test.
In that day, we read the text are all around to boost thinking skills, reading and answering questions to get a better understanding as well.
Procedure(Continue) and Comparison and Contrast

Today, teacher taught us about definition, purpose, Types of Procedural text, text organization and language Features, finished this lesson before we started to learn about Comparison and Contrast then, we had to tell differences and similarities of oranges and apples. After that, We had to Read each text and completed the diagram.
In the day, I can separate between differences and similarities and I thought this lesson was very easy for me.
