This was the last class in this semester. We learned about "Problem and Solution" continue from last week. The teacher checked the homework and we watched the cooking video of our friends. Today, I enjoyed watching friends's cooking video were very fun.

Today, We learned about Definition and Classification continue from last week. The teacher gave us checked homework with friends.


Exemplification.

The teacher taught about commonly used abbreviations and transitions in exemplification text.

When learn the acronyms commonly used and then we started reading comprehension. And a separate concept mapping components. Then answer the questions and highlight the important words.

Today, we started to learn about Definition and Classification and before the class started, she told us about the scores of midterm exam. The teacher explained about definition and classification then we had to do the exercise skill Practice 1,2 and 3. I should return to practice this lesson, because I don't quite understood.

 We learned about “Cause and Effect”. The teacher gave us the sheet and we looked the language of  Cause and Effect. Then we had to do the exercise "Skill Practice 1,2". After that around 30 minutes, she give us checked the answer with friends. And she Explained about Cause and Effect.



Cause and Effect is used to show how to the facts or concepts result due to other facts, events or concepts. Words that signal this type of text structure are because, since, therefore, if ... then, as a result of, thus, and hence. A graphic organizer may be used to represent the relationship between the causes and effects.

 Today, we had to read the text " Men and Women: Do they speak the same language? " and did the exercises from the text. Next, the teacher gave us check the answer with friends. Then we had to a midterm test.

In that day, we read the text are all around to boost thinking skills, reading and answering questions to get a better understanding as well.

Today, teacher taught us about definition, purpose, Types of Procedural text, text organization and language Features, finished this lesson before  we started to learn about Comparison and Contrast thenwe had to tell differences and similarities of oranges and apples. After that, We had to Read each text and completed the diagram.


In the day, I can separate between differences and similarities and I thought this lesson was very easy for me.

Today, I learned about the procedure by the teacher to learn today is the procedure of cooking. Initially, the professor launched a process of making an omelet and we watched the video of Jamie Oliver made omelet

In addition, teachers can teach about How to make a Banana shake, Recipe for Banana Cake and Chicken soup. Teacher explained the process to write the ingredients. The process of making food. This is a simple and well understood. Finally, we learn about appliances is the toaster. To view the label and see how tuse the information already provided to answer questions. Today before the start of the study was collected from the lessons of the past. I think it is particularly difficult to conclude that Kylie is the understanding of himself. I do not vote and may be missing.
I learned about “Descriptive” – Descriptive text is a text which says what a person, a thing or a place is like. It would help us visualize and understand a topic. It also explained the characteristics of the subject or topic and used details. In addition, descriptive adjective help us visualize the topic.

The teachers have taught today is the Komodo Dragon by teachers to separate the elements by a concept mapping idea to separate different elements to make it easier to understand and answer the questions which way the teacher made me learn and greater understanding.

Finally, I should practice my reading skill everyday and read the studied content before the class.

The teacher thought about Narratives.
I learned story about secrets of Kylie  "Secrets" by Tim Winton is about a young girl called Kylie who feels inadequate and lonely by her mother's lack of care and love and the missing father figure in her life. I think it interested and rather difficult.


I think the most  important  are…
Neglect :  Kylie's mother doesn't care her and made her feel left out of the family because Kylie's mother had a new husband.
Loneliness : Her mother loves Philip more Kylie, so She likes to be alone, because no one cares for her.
Problems associated with contemporary family life : Family is important to take care and look after their children. When there are problems, they should consult discussed. So they cannot be a problem.

The story symbols.
·       The eggs be compared as her friends when she lonely heartache.
·       The well be compared as the special places of Kylie.
·       The photos be compared as Memories of her past, she misses.
·       Kylie's cutting of the photo be compared as feeling that she does not understand her mother and she did not want to be part of the family.

 Today we have a story that is about the Recount Narrative by these two things are related, but it wanes professor explained that it is sometimes quite difficult to understand sometimes do not understand. The story is about a professor's Secret Kylie initial teacher to explain the character and the character before. Before beginning his story Enough featuring past one and I think it's difficult to understand the substance of it.
       I think this lesson is simple but difficult for me, but when I was able to translate and understand the meaning and I can write summaries and answered questions. When I read that I use skimming and scanning to read. And sometimes I use my mobile for help to find the words in the online dictionary.
         Finally, I should go back and review that this should read the diary and my friends used to understand this.

The teacher taught about recount. I learned about news and analysis for the introduction. Brief news and events staff have brought to our analysis is the news about the arrest for theft of police to arrest the accused Kuu. At first, it looked for a role that is difficult, but teacher-directed approach to it so it becomes easy and fun.
I think the lesson is simple because I can analyze text and answer by reading this question is quite simple and easy to understand by now, I will not see the words before and come back to find words that do not follow. how teachers teach.

Finally, the attitude of my lessons are very useful for the interpretation and understanding of others, because it can be used for reading the daily newspaper to read the English version of the past, it is an important skill for teachers.

Recount

In the morning. I had a discourse approach in reading  class. The teacher thought about recount learned the types of recount that had 3 types . The first type is Personal Recount. The second type is Factual Recount. And last type is Imaginative. And I learnt text organization events and reorientation includes finding action verbs or past tense, linking words to do with time and specific participants  and language feature. And give my work read the text and answer the question's title My Grandpa's Funeral in Toraja.
I think it's difficult and understand to vocabulary. But I try to be the best and I feel very good.

Course introduction

On 9 January 2017
Today is the first day of the school term, the two professors have introduced courses in this semester and plans to tell the cause and purpose of the study, including all content.

 I learned about  discourse markers. I don’t know about this but it interested and rather difficult. I feel good to have class with Dr.Usa Noytim again. Because teacher 
very kind and friendly with students. Teacher thought about the discourse markers are a word or phrase that is relatively syntax-independent and does not change 
the meaning of the sentence, and has a somewhat empty meaning. I feel very good.
